Anniversary highlights the company's longevity and solidity
History of Guéry
The company was founded by Michel Guérid in 1864 as a tinplate workshop at La Tourlandry in Maine-et-Loire. The Guérid sons then launched the boiler-making business and developed industrial production.
1890: The manufacture of buckets is the oldest product line designed by the Guéry company. These buckets are used to transport cereals, flour, animal feed and fertilizers....
1945: At the end of the2nd World War, the company began manufacturing molds for bakers. This activity took off significantly in the 70s, in response to demand from the viennoiserie, biscuit and sandwich bread industries.
1964: The use of compressed air enables machines to be automated.
1970: As business increases, the company expands, doubling the workshop area and adding new offices.
1990: The company launches a new ENVIRONMENT business.
2009: Guéry is taken over by Mr. Quillévéré. The e-commerce website Toutpourleschefs.fr is launched in 2010, along with a second e-commerce site, Poubelle-pro.fr, to develop sales.
Since 2019: the new manager is Mr Olivier Caron.
